BORDENTOWN TOWNSHIP, NJ-- The Bordentown Township Police Department is advising residents that it has recently received several reports of overnight burglaries to unlocked cars in the Township, and urges residents to take common-sense measures to avoid their motor vehicles broken into, or worse, stolen.

The BTPD is encouraging residents to lock their vehicles when not in use, and to avoid leaving valuables inside their cars. That includes spare keys, which can lead to vehicle thefts.

The BTPD is asking residents to immediately report any suspicious activity or persons to the Department at 609-298-4300, or dial 911 in case of an emergency.
