MOUNT HOLLY, NJ-- The Burlington Prosecutor's Office is warning about a COVID scam that could potentially harm businesses, who are already struggling due to the pandemic.

Recently, someone posted a false notice, supposedly from the Burlington County Health Department, outside of a business in Marlton, which claimed the establishment was ordered to close for one week due to multiple customers testing positive for COVID-19 after visting the store.

A fake Burlington County Seal was used in the notice, and is pictured here. The correct County Seal is also pictured.
