BORDENTOWN CITY, NJ-- You may have noticed that officers from the Bordentown City and Bordentown Township Police Departments looked a little scruffier in the month of November.

It was all for a wonderful cause.

The officers were raising money as part of "No Shave November" for Bordentown City resident Brianna Lemmo, a 16-year old teen who is currently battling Hodgkin’s Lymphoma.

Officers who participated in "Beards for Brianna" made donations to grow a full beard, mustache or goatee and female officers donated to paint their fingernails any color they desired.

Today, officers from the City and Township Police Departments presented Brianna with a check for $4,000 raised from the joint No Shave November campaign.

In addition, local restaurants Chickie's and Pete's, Jimmy's American Grill, Old Town Pub and Mario and Franks II donated 10 percent of their proceeds on November 24 to Brianna's fight.
