HAMILTON, NJ -- The Hamilton Police are seeking the public's help in identifying a potential suspect in connection with an explosive device found this week in the parking lot of Absolute Auto Solutions, located at 336 Route 130.

On Monday, January 11 at 9:00 pm, Hamilton police officers were dispatched to the auto shop in response to a report of an explosion in the parking lot. Responding officers found two vehicles in the lot towards the business entrance. The officers determined that a large explosive device, possibly a fireworks type device, detonated on the ground between two vehicles for sale. Both vehicles sustained damage from the detonation.

Anyone with information about the incident should contact Hamilton Police Criminal Investigations Detective Pat Quick at (609) 581-4111 or PQuick@hamiltonpd.org. Information also can be left on the Crime Tip Hotline at (609) 581-4008.
