BORDENTOWN TOWNSHIP, NJ—Bordentown Township is reminding residents about brush pickup and leaf collection, as we go deeper into autumn and the leaves continue to fall off the trees.

The last day for scheduled brush pick-up in the Township is Tuesday, October 27.

To schedule a pick up, call Public Works no later than 3pm on Monday, October 26, and have your brush piles on the curb no later than Tuesday at 7am.

Brush can always be dropped off by residents at the Township Public Works site.

The Township also wants to remind residents that loose-leaf collection will begin on Monday, November 2.

Leaf collection starts at the northern end of the Township and works daily towards the south end. There is no specific leaf pick-up schedule, and the leaf vacuum truck will continue to collect leaves until finished, weather permitting.

Residents are asked not to mix leaves with branches or twigs, and to not place leaves in bags or containers.

Residents may also bring bagged leaves to the Public Works site, but bags must be emptied at the center.

The Bordentown Township Public Works Center is located at 266 Crosswicks Road.

For questions or for more information, contact the Bordentown Township Department of Public Works at (609) 291-2133.
