BORDENTOWN TOWNSHIP, NJ -- Witnesses are being sought by the Bordentown Township Police Department in their ongoing investigation into a hit-and-run accident that left a pedestrian hospitalized with serious injuries.   

On Saturday, October 17 at approximately 6:55 pm a 42-year-old male was crossing Farnsworth Avenue in the area of Municipal Drive.  He was struck by a vehicle which fled the scene and is believed to continue traveling toward Route 130. 

Currently, Township Police only have the description of the vehicle as a "gray colored sedan with possible passenger side damage."

As a result of the accident, the pedestrian suffered serious injuries and was transported to Capital Health Regional Medical Center,  He remains in stable condition.
