BORDENTOWN, NJ — What better way to celebrate the re-socialization of modern society than to attend an outdoor local Renaissance Faire that incorporates social responsibility into its theme?
The New Jersey Renaissance Faire (NJRF) will be holding court at Liberty Lake Day Camp on Saturday and Sunday, May 29 and 30 and Saturday and Sunday, June 5 and 6, from 10AM to 6PM, as it transforms the grounds into the magical village of Crossford.
Seven action-packed hours of interactive entertainment await, including knight jousts, sword fighting, fire breathing, aerialists, comedy, music and more. Enjoy extensive shopping in the eclectic Merchant Village of fine artisans and eat a wide variety of faire-food, including the ever popular turkey "dragon" legs. Local craft breweries Spellbound and Third State will be there, as well as Valenzano Wines and the South Jersey Celtic Society Meade Garden.
This year's special attractions include Shelli Buttons, the Righteous Blackguards, William Shakespeare himself, the swashbuckling Lords of Adventure and Chaste Treasure. Formed by NJRF General Manager Melissa Baker, Chaste Treasure has become one of the hottest Renaissance Faire acts across the country, performing regularly at 20 faires throughout North America throughout the year, even during 2020 and 2021.
