EASTAMPTON, NJ-- If you are in the market for a safe, fun and free family night out, the Burlington County Parks System may have what you're looking for.

The Parks system is bringing drive-in movies to Smithville Park in Eastampton this weekend, starting with a presentation of the movie Goonies on Saturday night, October 3, starting at 6:30pm.

Saturday's drive-in movie will be followed up by a showing of the family Halloween movie Hotel Transylvania on Saturday, October 24 at 6:30pm.

The movie will be shown on a large drive-in screen, and attendees can either stay in their car and tune the radio to the movie audio, or sit directly in front of their vehicle.

Movie nights are first-come, first-served events, and space is limited. When spots are full, the Burlington County Parks System's Event page on Facebook will be updated- so get there early! Gates will open at 5:30pm, and upon arrival, cars will be directed into an assigned parking spot. Social distancing will be enforced, and masks must be worn whenever anyone leaves the car, such as when walking to the restroom area. Bring your own snacks, since no vendors will be onsite.

More information about the Burlington County Parks System's Movie Nights can be found on their Facebook page and on their Events website HERE
