HILLSBOROUGH, NJ – If you don’t know by now, Girl Scouts is much more than cookies, crafts, and summer camp.

In fact, the Girl Scouts Heart of New Jersey say they should host your next professional business conference, special event, or any other big celebration in which you are looking to seriously impress.

Look no further than Camp DeWitt in Hillsborough, the site of Girl Scout camping for 60 years in the picturesque Sourland Mountains. The 152-acre site is now home to an impressive state-of-the-art 10,000 square foot conference center and activity building, which Girl Scouts’ leadership celebrated Thursday night with a grand opening and ribbon-cutting ceremony.

This facility has Wi-Fi, two VIP rooms, and a multi-source input AV system controlled via a single, wall-mounted touch panel. You won’t want to miss the connecting outdoor pavilion—equipped with overhead lighting, fans, a hand-washing sink, a water fountain, and outdoor projector and projection screen. Perfect to enjoy nature during your indoor/outdoor events.

There’s also a top-of-the-line gourmet kitchen. Girl Scouts Heart of New Jersey rival’s some of the top restaurants, now equipped with industrial-sized refrigerators and freezers, a warming station, two ovens (range top and flat top), and a wall-mounted pot filler.

Somerville Woman Arrested for Shoplifting from Macy's, According to Bridgewater Police Report

BRIDGEWATER, NJ - A Somerville woman was arrested for allegedly shoplifting more than $400 worth of merchandise from Macy's at the Bridgewater Commons Mall July 7, according to a report from Bridgewater Township Police.

Sara Morales-Silva, 51, was charged with shoplifting after she was found with about $435.04 worth of merchandise from the store.
