BRIDGEWATER, NJ - With lots of singing and even a "prom-posal," the Bridgewater-Raritan High School choir program held its annual Sing-Off competition June 1, crowing senior Nick Scafuto as the first place winner.

Coming in second place were Ashley Velazquez and Ginger May, followed by Sophia Carollo in third place.

The event is held for the Kimberly A. Nelson Foundation, which was created in memory of Kimberly Nelson, a member of the BRHS class of 2010, who died in 2009. The foundation was established to support school music programs and provide scholarship funding to students who are active in choir and musical theater.
