WARREN, NJ -- The Bridgewater-Raritan baseball team overcame a three-run deficit and scored a run in the top of the eighth inning to beat Watchung Hills, 4-3, on Friday.

Elliott Rodgers went 3-for-4 with a run scored and an RBI for the Panthers (5-2), who scored two runs in the sixth inning and then one each in the seventh and eighth innings. Greg Verano doubled in a run and Justin Sinibaldi and Anthony Scarlata each had RBI singles in the victory.

Jeff Bolka pitched two shutout innings of relief, allowing one hit, and Verano threw a scoreless eighth for the save for the Panthers.
