Board of Education Honors This Year's District Retirees

BRIDGEWATER, NJ - The Bridgewater-Raritan Regional Board of Education honored its retirees at a recent meeting, recognizing all for their service to the district and their work in education as a whole.

"We want to thank everyone for all the work they have done," Superintendent Russell Lazovick said.

Retirees following the 2017-2018 school year are:

  • Linda Canulette, school counselor, Bridgewater-Raritan High School, 18 years
  • Bonnie Crosby, ESL teacher, Adamsville Primary, 38 years
  • Jackie Fives, physical education teacher, Bridgewater-Raritan Middle School, 17 years
  • Janet Ihne, elementary intervention specialist, Adamsville Primary, 23 years
  • Doris Lienhard, special education assistant, Van Holten Primary, 14 years
  • Carol Nolan-Petronella, speech language specialist, Van Holten Primary, 32 years

Bridgewater Police Investigating Report of $2K Worth of Tools Stolen from Car, According to Report

BRIDGEWATER, NJ - Bridgewater Township Police are investigating a report of a theft of more than $2,000 from a vehicle parked at the Home Depot, in the Bridgewater Towne Center, according to a report.

A Hillsborough resident reported June 3 at about 5:58 p.m. that his vehicle had been burglarized while parked at the Home Depot. The theft occurred between 5 p.m. and 5:50 p.m.
