Boys Soccer: Bridgewater-Raritan Ousts Gill-St. Bernard's, 3-0, in Somerset Tournament

BRIDGEWATER, NJ - The top-seeded Bridgewater-Raritan boys soccer team is headed to the finals after a 3-0 victory over Gill-St. Bernard's in the semifinal round of the Somerset County Tournament on Saturday.

Bridgewater-Raritan (13-0-1) added to a 1-0 lead with a pair of goals in the second half. Sean Masur finished with one goal and one assist, and Anthony Cabrera and Oliver Trujillo each scored a goal.

The Panthers outshot fourth-seeded Gill-St. Bernard's (8-6-1), 11-6. Winning goalie Calum Erlenborn stopped six shots. BRHS will play either Somerville or Pingry in the county final next Saturday.

Somerville Man Arrested for Drugs Following Foot Chase in Raritan, Police Say

RARITAN, NJ - A Somerville man was arrested Nov. 2 following a foot chase after he was seen dealing with narcotics in the area of West Somerset Street and Loomis Street, according to reports from Raritan Borough Police.

Jamar Archer, 35, was charged with possession of heroin and obstruction.

NEW BRUNSWICK, NJ - Rutgers University is receiving a prestigious art collection valued at nearly $34 million, its largest single donation ever, the university announced on Thursday.
