BRIDGEWATER, NJ - The Bridgewater-Raritan High School football team and BR-TV are teaming up to gather supplies for those affected by hurricanes Harvey and Irma.
On Sept. 22, during the football game at Basilone Field, there will be drop-off boxes for fans to donate school supplies to those in need. They can be dropped off from the moment the gates open until the end of half time.
All donated items will be given to the Salvation Army for distribution to those affected by the hurricanes.
The game, against Phillipsburg, begins at 7 p.m. Donation boxes will be at the entrance to the stadium.
Items being collected include notebooks, pens and paper.
