BRIDGEWATER, NJ - The Bridgewater-Raritan girls lacrosse team will advance to the semifinals after defeating Hunterdon Central Tuesday in the NJSIAA North Jersey, Group 4 quarterfinal tournament game, 18-8.
Bridgewater-Raritan took the lead in the first half, scoring eight goals, followed by another 10 in the second. Hunterdon Central answered with four goals in the first half and four in the second.
For Bridgewater-Raritan, Hannah Hollingsworth scored six goals in total, with Ally Mastroianni and Kirsten Murphy scoring four goals each. Mackenzie Knouse and Ally Stanton each scored two goals.
Bridgewater-Raritan will face Ridge in the semifinal tournament on Thursday.
