BRIDGEWATER, NJ - The Bridgewater-Raritan High School girls lacrosse team defeated Ridge, 19-1, to win the quarterfinals of the NJSIAA North Jersey Group 4 Tournament Monday.
Bridgewater-Raritan took an early lead in the game, jumping to a score of 15-0 by halftime, and scoring another four goals in the second half.
The team was led by Ally Mastroianni with five goals and Ally Stanton with four goals. Hannah Hollingsworth, Kirsten Murphy and Jana Rothman scored two goals each.
The game was rounded out by Brittany Blair, Tai Jankowski, Julia Lytle and Addison Reilly with one goal each.
Bridgewater-Raritan goalie Arielle Weisman had eight saves in the game.
The team, now 20-0 on the season, advances to the semifinals against Hunterdon Central Thursday.
