BRHS Graduate Named National High School Lacrosse Player of the Year


BRIDGEWATER, NJ - Bridgewater-Raritan High School graduate Allison Mastroianni has been named the Inside Lacrosse National Player of the Year.

Mastroianni graduated this year, and is heading to the University of North Carolina Chapel Hill to begin her freshman year. She committed to the school earlier this year.

Mastroianni was a member of the BRHS girls varsity lacrosse team that defeated Oak Knoll School, 7-6, in June to take the state championship for the first time in the school's history.

A midfielder on the BRHS team, Mastroianni finished the spring season with 72 goals and 35 assists. She scored 107 points in this past season.

BRIDGEWATER, NJ - A Piscataway woman was arrested for driving while intoxicated after she was stopped on Route 22 East Feb. 24, according to a report from Bridgewater Township Police.
