BRIDGEWATER, NJ - He loves seeing people dance and “move to the groove,” and that discovery made him more serious than ever about pursuing his music – and now Bridgewater-Raritan High School graduate Dominic Palombi has released his first jazz album.

Palombi recently released his first album, “As the Sun Rises,” with a number of compositions he wrote himself.

“I started taking lessons from my first drum teacher, Matt Lewis, when I was 10 years old, and studied with him for eight years until I started college,” Palombi said. “Originally I wanted to take piano lessons, due to reasoning and influence, my two twin sisters started taking music lessons before me.”

His sister Michelle took piano and his sister Gina took guitar.

But, Dominic Palombi said, he was more serious about music than his sisters.
