BRIDGEWATER, NJ - The Bridgewater-Raritan High School girls softball team defeated Ridgewood in a shutout game Wednesday to win the NJSIAA Group 4 semifinals.

The team defeated Ridgewood, 2-0.

This game was the second straight shutout for Bridgewater-Raritan High School pitcher Megan Zinn.

The game remained scoreless for the first three innings before Bridgewater-Raritan broke through with its first run in the fourth inning, and another in the fifth. Runs were scored by Tiffany Mazzagotti and Samantha Ward.

Bridgewater-Raritan will play Washington Township in the state championships Saturday at Kean University.
