BRHS Wrestler Advances to Regions After Winning Weight Class in NJSIAA Tournament

MILLBURN, NJ - Bridgewater-Raritan High school wrestler Nick Sacco placed first in the district in his weight class in the NJSIAA District 16 final round wrestling tournament Saturday.

As a team, Bridgewater-Raritan came in fourth with 86 points at the tournament, defeating New Providence and coming in behind winner Watchung Hills, Voorhees and Colonia.

Sacco defeated Colby Koshinski, of Voorhees in the 113-pound weight class to advance to the region tournament.

Also moving on to the region three high school wrestling championships – which begin Wednesday at Union High School – are Matt Sacco, who placed second in the 138-pound weight class; Michael Winchock, who placed second in the 160-pound weight class; and Brett MacMath, who placed third in the 170-pound weight class.

BRIDGEWATER, NJ - Bridgewater Township Police are investigating a report of a theft of more than $2,000 from a vehicle parked at the Home Depot, in the Bridgewater Towne Center, according to a report.

A Hillsborough resident reported June 3 at about 5:58 p.m. that his vehicle had been burglarized while parked at the Home Depot. The theft occurred between 5 p.m. and 5:50 p.m.
