BRIDGEWATER, NJ - Bridgewater Baseball and Softball held its annual opening day parade at the field on Prince Rodgers Avenue Saturday.

Players on all the teams paraded onto the field, greeted by members of the Bridgewater-Raritan High School varsity baseball team, local officials and Somerset Patriots Manager Emeritus Sparky Lyle.

The first pitch was thrown out first by Mayor Dan Hayes and then by Lyle. Then, as per tradition, the youngest boy and girl in the league had the chance to hit their first ball and run the bases, cheered on by the rest of the league.
