BRIDGEWATER, NJ - The Bridgewater Township Council approved several contracts for cleaning services and more over the next few years.
The first contract was to Clean Inc. of Bound Brook for custodial services for the municipal building, police building, public works building and senior center.
The contract is for an amount not to exceed $45,840.
The council also approved a contract with Robert Wood Johnson Health Network, Inc. on a competitive contracting basis for the Somerset Ambulance Shared Services Agency. The contract is for daytime weekday ambulance services for 2017, 2018 and 2019.
The contract is at no cost to the township.
Township administrator James Naples said this is a continuation of the current contract. Response time, he said, is always within 10 minutes, and, last year, the agency fielded about 900 calls.
“They continue to provide good service, and we are the largest user,” he said.
