Bridgewater Council Awards Contracts for Multiple Roadwork Projects


BRIDGEWATER, NJ - Bridgewater Township Council recently approved a number of resolutions for construction projects  on roads throughout the town.

The first is for a contract to Top Line Construction Corp. for the Country Club Road Improvement Project, from Talamini Road to Lyme Rock Road.

The contract is for $155,538.70, as funded through the 2016 capital improvement fund.

The project will include milling and pavement overlay, drainage improvements, sidewalk replacement and an upgrade of the sidewalk ramps.

For another construction project, the council awarded a contract to the Reynolds Group Inc. for $20,200 to be funded through the 2016 capital bond.

This project is for Adamsville Road (Route 22 to Union Avenue), the full length of Sunnyside Terrace and the full length of Hauck Road.

The contract is for surveying of the existing conditions and construction stake out.

Another contract was awarded to Banc3 Inc. for $73,160 for engineering and inspection services funded through the 2016 capital bond for the BWT-2 Road Improvement Project. This includes work on the entire length of Donohue Road and the full length of Krams Trail.

The contract is also for surveying of the existing conditions and construction stake out.

The council also awarded a contract to Hals Engineering Company for $39,400, funded through the 2016 capital bond for surveying and construction stake out services for the BWT-3 Road Improvement Project. This project includes Dow Road (Country Club Road to Madison Avenue) and the entire length of Roosevelt Street East.

Finally, one more contract for similar services was award to Keller & Kirkpatrick Inc. for $45,900 from the 2016 capital bond for the ninth section of the Country Club Road Improvement Project.

This section is from Lyme Rock Road to Roosevelt Street East.

BRIDGEWATER, NJ - A Piscataway woman was arrested for driving while intoxicated after she was stopped on Route 22 East Feb. 24, according to a report from Bridgewater Township Police.
