BRIDGEWATER, NJ - The Bridgewater Township Department of Human Services is hosting its Senior Health Fair Oct. 22 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Bridgewater Senior Citizens Center, on Somerville Road.
The free event is a component of the Bridgewater Mayors Wellness Campaign, and will provide free health screenings and evaluations by certified health practitioners.
Participants at the event will include the Center for Pain Management, Community Visiting Nurses Association, Dermatology Center of New Jersey, Doctors Express and Robert Wood Johnson Somerset.
In addition, the Bridgewater Lions Club will offer an eye glass collection through the Recycle for Sight program.
The Somerset County Sheriff’s Department will be conducting a Prescription Medication Take Back collection program, and 35 senior-oriented vendor exhibits and service displays will be available for review and networking.
There will be a free continental breakfast from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m., and the event will also feature door prizes and raffles courtesy of the exhibitors.
All are invited to attend.
The Mayors Wellness Campaign is dedicated to promoting active living and healthy lifestyle initiatives.
