BRIDGEWATER, NJ - The ASSAM Foundation of North America (AFNA) held its second annual Tree 4 All festival at Chimney Rock Park Saturday to dedicate a tree and celebrate cultural dance and more.

The program, with the dedication of a tree, aided the township in maintaining its recognition as a Tree City USA by the Arbor Day Foundation.

The event is held in honor of Jadav Payeng, a Mishing Tribe environmental and forestry worker from India. The township holds the ceremony in conjunction with AFNA to bring awareness to the environment with the planting of the tree.

The event also featured Irish dancing performances, Indian dancing performances, a baking competition, job fair, yoga and much more.
