BRIDGEWATER, NJ - The Shimon and Sara Birnbaum Jewish Community Center, on Talamini Road in Bridgewater, is holding its Third Annual Prom for Adults with Special Needs Nov. 19 from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m.
The prom is open to adults ages 18 and older, with special needs, and it will be held at the JCC.
The admission fee is $25 per person, and it includes an Italian dinner, dessert, soft drinks, dancing and more. There is no admission fee for personal aides to accompany guests.
The attire is party chic, no jeans.

The JCC holds a variety of special needs programs, including Special Needs Swimming Skills Program, the Rising Tide Special Olympics Swim Team and Adler Aphasia Center Support Groups. In addition, the JCC is holding a Special Needs Symposium, A Day of Learning for Caregivers and Professionals, Dec. 9 with keynote speaker Dr. Robert Naseef, a psychologist for over 20 years specializing in families of children with special needs.
The symposium will be held at Raritan Valley Community College, in Branchburg, and there will be breakout sessions featuring experts in the field of special needs.
