Bridgewater Man Arrested For DWI Following Motor Vehicle Complaint, Bridgewater Police Said


BRIDGEWATER, NJ - A Bridgewater man was arrested June 2 at about 8:33 p.m. on charges of driving while intoxicated after police responded to a motor vehicle complaint on Route 22 West near Milltown Road, according to a report from Bridgewater Township Police.

Ricardo Garcia-Pulido, 56, was charged with driving while intoxicated, and was also issued summonses for refusal to submit to chemical testing of his breath, being an unlicensed driver, delaying traffic and having an unclear license plate.

Garcia-Pullido was processed and released pending a court appearance.

Police made other arrests for DWI and more at the beginning of June.

  • A resident of Carber Street reported at 8:19 a.m. June 1 that there was a burglary to a motor vehicle in the overnight hours. According to the report, someone entered the unlocked vehicle and stole a wallet containing cash, credit and debit cards and other personal items.
  • Shane Wilson, 27, of Bound Brook, was charged with driving while intoxicated during an investigation of a motor vehicle crash on North Mountain Avenue at about 9:20 p.m. June 2. WIlson was also issued summonses for careless driving, failure to maintain a lane and reckless driving. Wilson was processed and released pending a court appearance.
  • Humza Saeed, 21, of North Plainfield, was arrested June 8 on an outstanding warrant. He was lodged in the Somerset County Jail.

Dunellen Man Arrested for Simple Assault Following Fight, According to Raritan Police

RARITAN, NJ - A Dunellen man was arrested for simple assault after police were called to a fight in progress on East Somerset Street, according to a report from Raritan Borough Police.

Franklin Cardenas-Hernandez, 34, was charged with simple assault in the incident March 11.

According to police, officers were sent to a residence on East Somerset Street for a report of a fight in progress.
