BRIDGEWATER, NJ - Bridgewater Township is reporting two more confirmed deaths in the town related to the COVID-19 virus, according to Mayor Matthew Moench.

That brings the total fatalities due to the virus to three in Bridgewater Township.

As of 10 a.m. Thursday, there were seven new cases of the disease in town, bringing the total to 22.

"I know I speak for everyone in Bridgewater when I say that all of us – residents, employees and officials – send our thoughts, prayers and support to everyone affected by this virus and to these families in particular," Moench said. "I will continue to make sure that Bridgewater residents are kept up-to-date with all of the most current information we are able to provide."

"I ask that everyone in our community maintain the courage, resolve and unity they have shown so far through this crisis," he added.
