Bridgewater Men Arrested on Drug Charges, According to Police Reports


*Editor's Note: The name of the second man arrested has been removed because the charges have since been dropped by the court.

BRIDGEWATER, NJ - Two Bridgewater men were arrested March 7 on drug charges, according to a report from the Bridgewater Township Police.

Luke Calder, 18, was charged with possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia after being arrested on Bluestone Lane.*

Both were processed and released pending a municipal court appearance.

Police made one other arrest recently for shoplifting.

  • Tiara Davila, 22, of Paterson, was arrested March 8 for shoplifting after she was allegedly found with $68 worth of merchandise from Bloomingdales in the Bridgewater Commons Mall. Davila was also found to have an outstanding warrant out of Wayne. She was processed and released pending a municipal court appearance.

Dunellen Man Arrested for Simple Assault Following Fight, According to Raritan Police

RARITAN, NJ - A Dunellen man was arrested for simple assault after police were called to a fight in progress on East Somerset Street, according to a report from Raritan Borough Police.

Franklin Cardenas-Hernandez, 34, was charged with simple assault in the incident March 11.

According to police, officers were sent to a residence on East Somerset Street for a report of a fight in progress.
