BRIDGEWATER, NJ - Bridgewater Township Police made several arrests over the past week for shoplifting from stores in the Bridgewater Commons Mall, as well as other stores around town.

Alexandria Rojas, 20, of Dunellen, was charged with shoplifting April 11 after allegedly being found with $133 worth of merchandise from Target at the Promenade Shopping Center. She was processed and released pending a court appearance.

Samantha Falcone, 23, of New York, was charged with shoplifting April 14 after allegedly being found with $334 worth of merchandise from Lord & Taylor in the Bridgewater Commons Mall. She was processed and released pending a court appearance.

Freddy Perez, 41, of Elizabeth, was charged with shoplifting April 20 after allegedly being found with $424 worth of merchandise from Abercrombie & Fitch in the Bridgewater Commons Mall. Perez was also charged with possession of burglar's tools, and he was processed and released pending a court appearance.

Jack Urbanowicz, 40, of Bridgewater, was charged with shoplifting April 21 after he was allegedly found with $129 worth of merchandise from Target at the Promenade Shopping Center. He was also charged with possession of burglar's tools, and released pending a court appearance.

Police are also investigating a number of burglaries around town.

  • A Mayflower Court resident reported a burglary to their home April 14. According to the report, someone entered the home and stole jewelry, cash and personal items.
  • A Glen Ridge Drive resident reported a burglary to their home April 15. According to the report, someone entered the home and stole jewelry and cash.
  • A Mayflower Court resident reported a burglary to their home April 17. According to the report, someone entered the home and stole jewelry, cash and personal items.
  • Trisha Babbino, 37, of Pennsylvania, was arrested for driving while intoxicated after she was stopped for a motor vehicle violation on Route 22 East April 15. Babbino was also issued a motor vehicle summons for unsafe lane change. Babbino was processed and released pending a court appearance.
