BRIDGEWATER, NJ - Bridgewater Township Police are investigating a report of a burglary of two vehicles parked in an unlocked garage on Willow Street Dec. 13.

According to the report, a Willow Street resident reported at 5 p.m. that someone had burglarized their two vehicles while they were parked in the garage in the overnight hours of Dec. 12.

Police said the resident reported a GPS unit, iPod and money - with a total value of $280 - was stolen.

Police are also investigating a report from a Krams Trail resident at about 9:40 p.m. Dec. 9 that someone had entered the home and stolen jewelry and cash.

Finally, Edward Gonter, 68, of Oak Ridge, was arrested Dec. 15 for allegedly shoplifting merchandise from Home Depot at the Promenade Shopping Center.

Gonter was allegedly found with $79 worth of merchandise.

Gonter was processed and released pending a municipal court appearance.
