BRIDGEWATER, NJ - Bridgewater Township Police are investigating a motorcycle crash that led to serious injuries on Route 22 near the America's Best Value Inn motel around 5:33 p.m. Wednesday.
According to police, Mark Dillon, 62, of Pennsylvania, was driving a 2007 Yamaha FJR motorcycle when he tried to get into the right lane on Route 22 West from America's Best Value Inn.
The motorcycle, police said, made contact with a trailer that was being pulled by a Ford F-550, being driven by James Irwin, 34, of Somerville.
Dillon was airlifted to Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital New Brunswick with serious injuries.
