BRIDGEWATER, NJ - Two Parsippany residents were arrested for shoplifting after they were found with almost $900 worth of electronic equipment from Target, in the Bridgewater Promenade, Jan. 7 at 4:55 p.m., according to a release from Bridgewater Township Police.

Carlos A. Gil-Castano, 19, and Nikole Viegas, 19, were charged with shoplifting and obstruction of justice.

According to police, they were found with video games and computer equipment valued at $895.88. During the arrest, both subjects provided false names to the arresting officer.

Gil-Castano was taken to Somerset County Jail, and Viegas was released on a summons. Both have pending court appearances in municipal court.

Police made other arrests for drugs, shoplifting and more in this week's police blotter.

  • Tyrone E. Harris, 62, of Plainfield, was arrested Jan. 11 at 2:16 p.m. for shoplifting at the Home Depot, in the Bridgewater Promenade. Police said Harris shoplifted tools and clothing valued at $588.83. He was processed and released pending a court appearance.
  • Adam Robert Davis, 38, of Helmetta, was arrested Jan. 12 at 1:31 p.m. for shoplifting at the Best Buy, on Commons Way. According to police, Davis was found with an electric toothbrush, valued at $189. He was processed for the arrest and taken to Somerset County Jail on an outstanding criminal warrant.
  • Kashima Robinson, 28, of Bound Brook, was arrested Jan. 12 at 1:31 p.m. for shoplifting at Target, at the Bridgewater Promenade. According to police, Robinson shoplifted various items from the grocery department, valued at $152.65. She was processed and released pending a court appearance.
  • Lauren M. Musumeci, 37, of Manville, was arrested Jan. 6 at 5:59 p.m. for shoplifting at Target, at the Bridgewater Promenade. Musumeci was allegedly found with cosmetics and clothing, valued at $187.90. She was processed and released pending a court appearance.
  • Macy R. Conklin, 18, of Bridgewater, was arrested Jan. 1 at 12:59 p.m. for shoplifting after allegedly being found with $70 worth of clothing from Target, at the Bridgewater Promenade. She was processed and released pending a court appearance.
  • Brayan S. Feliciano, 21, of Perth Amboy, was arrested Jan. 10 at 10:48 p.m. for possession of under 50 grams of marijuana. Feliciano was stopped for motor vehicle violations on Route 28. During the stop, police said, officers found marijuana hidden inside the air vents of the vehicle. He was charged with possession of marijuana under 50 grams, and issued summonses for maintenance of lamps and possession of a controlled dangerous substance in a motor vehicle. He was processed and released pending a court appearance.
  • Mark Anthony Ullman, 20, of Philadelphia, was arrested Jan. 7 at 12:20 a.m. for possession of under 50 grams of marijuana. Ullman was stopped for a motor vehicle violation on Route 202/206 North, and officers found marijuana and a glass bong inside the vehicle. He was charged with possession of marijuana under 50 grams and possession of drug paraphernalia, and was issued summonses for speeding. He was processed and released pending a court appearance.
  • Brandon D. Horvath, 18, of Bridgewater, and Jaylen Kaire Rodgers, 18, of Maryland were arrested Jan. 12 at 9:40 p.m. for defiant trespassing. Police said officers were dispatched to Eisenhower Intermediate School for an activated burglar alarm. The subjects were found inside the gymnasium. They were processed and released pending a court date.
  • Jitendra C. Kommireddy, 45, of Hillsborough, was arrested Jan. 10 at 9:49 p.m. for driving while intoxicated following a motor vehicle stop on Route 22 West. He was issued summonses for driving while intoxicated, reckless driving and failure to maintain a lane. He was processed and released pending a court appearance.
