BRIDGEWATER, NJ - Bridgewater Township Police are requesting assistance regarding a bank robbery Monday at the Peapack-Gladstone Bank, in the Finderne section of town, according to a post on the department's Facebook page.

According to the post, at about 3 p.m., a male suspect entered the bank and handed the teller a note demanding money. The suspect, the post said, exited the bank and was last seen walking west across Finderne Avenue.

The suspect, the post said, was described as a white or Hispanic male, about 5 feet, 8 inches to 5 feet, 10 inches tall. The post said he was wearing a blue hooded sweatshirts, blue jeans and red sneakers.
