BRIDGEWATER, NJ - A Somerset man was arrested at 11:06 a.m. March 3 for disorderly conduct after yelling at an officer in the presence of minors, according to this week's Bridgewater Township Police blotter.
Jeron Pitt, 18, was arrested after he continued to yell and curse at the officer in the presence of minors at the Somerset Academy.
Pitt was processed and released pending a court appearance.
Police made other arrests for drugs, DWI and shoplifting.
- Clifford L. Cox, 45, of Bridgewater, was stopped for a motor vehicle violation on East Main Street at 8:29 p.m. March 7. During the stop, police said, a strong odor of marijuana emanated from inside the vehicle. Cox was arrested for possession of marijuana of under 50 grams and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was also issued summonses for tinted windows and possession of a controlled dangerous substance in a motor vehicle. Cox was processed and released pending a court appearance.
- Melissa R. Rocco, 32, of Bridgewater, was arrested at 3:11 a.m. March 4 for driving while intoxicated following a motor vehicle stop on Route 202/206 South. He was issued summonses for driving while intoxicated, failure to maintain a lane, failure to signal a lane change, having an open container of alcohol in a motor vehicle and failure to submit to a breath test. Rocco was processed and released pending a court appearance.
- Shea Kravcak, 36, of Manville, was arrested for shoplifting at Target, in the Bridgewater Promenade, at 2:45 p.m. March 9. Police said Kravcak selected items, then went into a self pay line where she did not pay for $179.50 worth of items. She was processed and released pending a court date.
