NEWARK, NJ - In a tight game, the Bridgewater-Raritan High School boys soccer team defeated top-seeded Newark East Side, 1-0, Monday to take home the win in the semifinal round of the North Jersey Section 2 Group 4 NJSIAA Tournament.

The score was even at 0-0 at the end of the first half, but a lone goal in the second by Bridgewater-Raritan's Ricky LaStella clinched the win for Bridgewater-Raritan.

Bridgewater-Raritan goalie Calum Erlenborn had five saves in the game.

Bridgewater-Raritan next faces Scotch Plains-Fanwood in the finals Thursday on the road.
