Bridgewater-Raritan Girls Lacrosse Defeats Ridge in Somerset County Tournament Semifinals

BRIDGEWATER, NJ - The Bridgewater-Raritan High School girls lacrosse team defeated Ridge, 18-6, in the semifinal round of the Somerset County Tournament Thursday.

Bridgewater-Raritan's Ally Mastroianni and Kirsten Murphy scored four goals each in the game, followed by Addison Reilly with three goals and Hannah Hollingsworth with two goals. Tai Jankowski and Julia Lytle also had two goals each.

Bridgewater-Raritan will face Bernards in the finals Saturday.

Bound Brook Man Arrested After Shoplifting from Macy's, Bridgewater Police Say

BRIDGEWATER, NJ - A Bound Brook man was arrested March 16 after being found with clothing from Macy's in the Bridgewater Commons Mall, according to a report from Bridgewater Township Police.

David Meladze, 26, was charged with shoplifting and possession of burglar's tools.

According to the report, he was found with $160 worth of merchandise from the store.
