BRIDGEWATER, NJ - The Bridgewater-Raritan High School girls varsity lacrosse team defeated Westfield Tuesday, 16-6, to win the NJSIAA North Jersey Section 2 Group 4 semifinals.
Bridgewater-Raritan's Julia Lytle had five goals to lead the team to a win, followed by Ally Mastroianni with three goals. Hannah Hollingsworth, Kirsten Murphy and Ally Stanton each had two goals, and CJ Amster and Addison Reilly had one each.
Goalies Arielle Weissman and Carlie Bendavid had eight saves in total.
The top-seeded Bridgewater-Raritan was already leading 10-1 at halftime over the fourth-seeded Westfield.
Bridgewater-Raritan will next face Hunterdon Central in the finals Friday.
