Bridgewater-Raritan High School Boys Varsity Lacrosse Wins Sixth Overall County Title

BRIDGEWATER, NJ - The Bridgewater-Raritan High School boys lacrosse team won its third straight, and sixth overall, Somerset County Championship title Saturday, defeating Montgomery, 12-7.

This was also the team's 57th win in its last 58 games.

Bridgewater-Raritan and Montgomery traded the lead back and forth at the beginning of the game, but Bridgewater-Raritan maintained the lead in the second half and kept it for the rest of the game.

Bridgewater-Raritan's Nick Attanasio, Alden Christensen, Ethan Locker and Sean MacKinney each scored two goals in the game, and Ryan Delgado, Erich Della Volpe, Jalen Holmes and Dan MacKinney each scored one goal.

Goalie Kyle O'Neill had 15 saves for Bridgewater-Raritan.

Bridgewater-Raritan remains undefeated on the season.

Raritan Police: Warren Man Arrested for DWI and More in Police Blotter

RARITAN, NJ - A Warren man was arrested Feb. 1 for driving while intoxicated following a motor vehicle violation, according to a report from Raritan Borough Police.

Wayne Krause, 68, was charged with driving while intoxicated, reckless driving and speeding after being pulled over on Route 22 West.

Krause was processed and released pending a court appearance.
