BRIDGEWATER, NJ - The newly created Bridgewater-Raritan High School Orchestra Parent Association is hosting a Premier Designs Jewelry Fundraiser at its Oct. 18 meeting.
The demo will be at 7:45 p.m., and alumni and friends are welcome.
Guests are invited from 5:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. to view the high fashion jewelry, start their holiday shopping and help raise funds for the students.
A total of 25 percent of the sales will be donated to the Bridgewater-Raritan musicians for their award-winning trip to Indianapolis.
In addition, the BRHS Orchestra Parent Association will be holding a Used Clothing Drive for people to donate items they no longer need.
All items being donated should be put in well-tied trash bags, and the organization will receive a monetary donation from clothingdrivefundraiser.com based on the total weight of the items collected.
Items can be dropped off from 4 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. in the cafeteria Oct. 18 or from 9 a.m. to noon in the BRHS solar panel lot Oct. 22. Anyone who is unable to make those times should contact AnnaRene Jeremiah at BRHSOPA@gmail.com.
Items being collected include all types of clothing; sneakers and shoes; blankets; pillows and sheets; bedspreads; quilts; table cloths; bath rugs; purses; hats and gloves; under garments; baby accessories; cars; play sets; blocks; and stuffed animals.
