Bridgewater-Raritan High School's BR-TV, Key Club Donate for Breast Cancer Awareness

BRIDGEWATER, NJ - Bridgewater-Raritan High School's BR-TV and the Key Club joined forces the week of Oct. 24 to show support for Breast Cancer Awareness.

It began Oct. 25 with a party with a cause in the school's cafeteria. Called Spook for a Cure, the party featured a DJ, food, drinks and Halloween themed games.

In addition, the two clubs sold pink BR-TV t-shirts throughout the month.

All of the money collected from the party and the t-shirt sales was donated to the Susan G. Komen Foundation. In total, the organizations collected $250.

Raritan Police: Warren Man Arrested for DWI and More in Police Blotter

RARITAN, NJ - A Warren man was arrested Feb. 1 for driving while intoxicated following a motor vehicle violation, according to a report from Raritan Borough Police.

Wayne Krause, 68, was charged with driving while intoxicated, reckless driving and speeding after being pulled over on Route 22 West.

Krause was processed and released pending a court appearance.
