BRIDGEWATER, NJ - Despite a winning streak through the entire season, the Bridgewater-Raritan High School ice hockey team lost its bid for the Public A tournament after losing to Southern Monday, 4-2.

The Panthers took the lead in the first period, moving ahead of Southern, 2-0. But Southern scored four goals in the final two periods of the game to defeat the Panthers in the NJSIAA/Devils Public A Tournament at the Bridgewater Sports Arena.

The Bridgewater-Raritan team had previously defeated Southern Jan. 9, 5-3.

Bridgewater-Raritan's two goals were scored by Jordan Petersen and Eddie Weissman.
