BRIDGEWATER, NJ - The Bridgewater-Raritan football team remained undefeated with a 42-27 victory over Ridge Friday night.

Dave Usewick rushed for 102 yards and a touchdown on 14 carries and Eric Nickel completed six of 14 passes for 181 yards and a TD for Bridgewater (9-0).

Senior halfback Kermit Hoffman compiled 166 yards of total offense for Ridge (5-4), catching four passes from QB Duncan Roberts for 127 yards and two TDs and rushing for 39 yards and a TD on eight carries.

The teams will await official word of their seedings for the NJSIAA playoffs that begin next weekend.

Raritan Police: Warren Man Arrested for DWI and More in Police Blotter

RARITAN, NJ - A Warren man was arrested Feb. 1 for driving while intoxicated following a motor vehicle violation, according to a report from Raritan Borough Police.

Wayne Krause, 68, was charged with driving while intoxicated, reckless driving and speeding after being pulled over on Route 22 West.

Krause was processed and released pending a court appearance.
