WESTFIELD, NJ -- Two members of the Bridgewater-Raritan wrestling team won championships at the District 14 tournament on Saturday.

Brett MacMath defeated Justin Alpaugh-McLean of Cranford at 182 pounds, 2-0, in the championship round. Nicholas Sacco represented the Panthers at 138 pounds and he won a 5-3 decision over Luke DiGiovanni in that title bout.

Two Bridgewater-Raritan wrestlers placed second in the district. Nick Cordero (195 lbs.) and Trey Spina (170 lbs.) both reach the finals in their weight class. Cordero scored a technical fall, 21-4, against Gerald Rovelo of Bayonne in the semifinals. Spina decisioned Dennis Choe of Millburn, 8-3, in the semis.

Daniel Smith (113), Tyler Hisko (145) and Aiden Schwereizer (220) of Bridgewater-Raritan also reached the semifinals in their weight classes.
