BRIDGEWATER, NJ - Bridgewater Township has released an updated schedule for roadwork on various roads throughout the township at the end of July.
Resurfacing of Milltown Road, from Old York Road to Route 202, continues Thursday, and is expected to finish.
On Friday, roadwork will begin with resurfacing on Milltown Road from Route 28 to Route 22.
On July 24, resurfacing will begin on Milltown Road from Route 202 to the railroad, the railroad to Route 22 and Route 22 to the Easton Turnpike. These sections will be done overnight.
Construction is also continuing on Brown Road with handicap ramp and sidewalk replacements, drainage improvements, road base repairs and resurfacing of the pavement. Through traffic will be detoured during working hours and possibly overnight.
According to the township, access to homes that front within the roadway improvement zone will be maintained, but parking at alternate locations may be required for brief periods during the work.
