BRIDGEWATER, NJ - The Bridgewater Township Environmental Commission and Sustainability Task Force is holding the annual “Recycling Super Hero/Litter Villain" poster contest for fourth grade students.

Prizes will be awarded for original artwork posters depicting a Recycling Super Hero or Litter Villain. Winners will be selected by a panel of judges, and all submitted posters will be on display in the municipal building from Dec. 4 through Dec. 20.

Prize winners in all categories will be announced during a ceremony Dec. 20, and all entries will be judged based on creativity and merit.

The prizes are being awarded through a grant from the New Jersey Clean Communities Program.

The contest is open to all fourth grade students in the school district, and all students will receive a certificate of recognition from the township. All posters must be no larger than 22 inches by 28 inches, and there must be a name for the Super Hero or Villain on the poster.

The submission deadline is Nov. 30.

First prize will be a $75 gift card, second prize will be a $50 gift card and third prize will be a $25 gift card.
