Bridgewater Township Police Investigating Reports of Home Burglaries


BRIDGEWATER, NJ - Two local residents reported burglaries to their residences over the last two weeks, resulting in the thefts of jewelry and cash, according to reports from Bridgewater Township Police.

A Milltown Road resident reported at about 1 p.m. April 28 that someone had entered the house and stolen jewelry.

A Fern Court resident reported May 7 at about 9:20 p.m. that someone had entered the house and stolen jewelry and cash.

Police made other arrests over the last few weeks for shoplifting and more.

  • Caroline Acosta, 26, of Bound Brook, was arrested April 28 for shoplifting about $668 worth of merchandise from Target in the Promenade Shopping Center. Acosta was processed and lodged in the Somerset County Jail.
  • Joshua Tennis, 25, of Raritan, was arrested May 3 for an outstanding warrant. He was lodged in the Somerset County  Jail.
  • Police are investigating a report from May 6 that a Mercedes trunk emblem was stolen off a 2015 C30 while it was parked in lot No. 2 at the Bridgewater Commons Mall.
  • Kyle Adams, 29, of Bridgewater, was arrested May 6 for shoplifting after allegedly being found with $100 worth of merchandise from Target at the Promenade Shopping Center. Adams was processed and lodged in the Somerset County Jail.

BRIDGEWATER, NJ - A Piscataway woman was arrested for driving while intoxicated after she was stopped on Route 22 East Feb. 24, according to a report from Bridgewater Township Police.
