BRRSD Opening Kindergarten, First Grade Registration

BRIDGEWATER, NJ - Bridgewater-Raritan Regional School District is holding its kindergarten and first grade registration at the end of February and beginning of March.

Children who will turn 5 years old on or before Oct. 1, 2017 are eligible to be enrolled into the kindergarten program for September 2017.

The kindergarten program is a half day program with morning and afternoon sessions, and families will be notified of their children’s assignments during the summer.

The morning session is 8:35 a.m. to 11:15 a.m., while the afternoon session is 12:15 p.m. to 2:55 p.m.

Children who will turn 6 years old on or before Oct. 1, 2017, and attended an accredited kindergarten program outside of the district, are eligible to be enrolled into first grade for September 2017.

Prior to attending one of the registration dates, parents and guardians should complete the online pre-registration, and submit it by Feb. 17 at https://good.gl/Dzxy0m.

For the actual registration, parents should bring the child’s birth certificate, immunization records, most current physical and proof of residency.

Registration is held at the Harmon V. Wade Administration Building, on Newmans Lane.

Registration is being held according to last names.

In the event of inclement weather, check brrsd.org for updates.

Registration will be Feb. 27, last names A through G from 9 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., and last names H through M from 12:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m.

On Feb. 28, last names N through S will register 9 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., and last names T through Z will register 12:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m.

On March 1, last names H through M will register 9 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., and last names A through G will register 12:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m.

Finally, on March 2, last names T through Z will register 9 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., and last names N through S will register 12:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m.

There will be one evening registration, by registration only, March 1 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.

BRIDGEWATER, NJ - Bridgewater Township Police are investigating a report of a theft of more than $2,000 from a vehicle parked at the Home Depot, in the Bridgewater Towne Center, according to a report.
