BW NICE Announces Presentation from Television Personality Anne Thornton at Upcoming Breakfast Meeting


BRIDGEWATER, NJ - The BW NICE Somerset County Chapter proudly announces the appearance and presentation from award-winning author and television personality, Anne Thornton, who is going to share some key professional tips on how to take better care of your home.This breakfast meeting, which includes breakfast and the opportunity to network with fellow attendees, is scheduled to take place on Thursday, November 9th from 9:00 - 10:00 a.m. at The Bridgewater Manor. Cost is $20. for BW NICE members and $30 for non-members.

Anne Thornton knows firsthand that being knowledgable, prepared and proactive can make a huge difference in both the severity of a problem and the cost to repair that problem. She is the Founder and President of MSI Plumbing & Remodeling, one of New Jersey's few woman-owned plumbing and remodeling companies. "I am so excited about giving my presentation to the BW NICE Somerset County Chapter on November 9th. I wrote this book to teach women in particular about the mechanical systems in their homes. I want women to be proactive about their homes because it will save them both time and money. By using the tips, reminders, checklists and calendars in my book everyone can learn something about taking care of their own home," said Anne Thornton.

In over 25 years in business, Anne has grown her company to a multi-million dollar operation providing building repairs, remodeling and licensed plumbing services to residential and commercial properties throughout central New Jersey.

Anne has been honored as one of New Jersey's Top 25 Leading Women Entrepreneurs; she is a SmartCEO Brava Award recipient and recently received the first ever Catalyst Award from the Women's Business Forum of the Hunterdon County Chamber of Commerce.

Raritan Police: Warren Man Arrested for DWI and More in Police Blotter

RARITAN, NJ - A Warren man was arrested Feb. 1 for driving while intoxicated following a motor vehicle violation, according to a report from Raritan Borough Police.

Wayne Krause, 68, was charged with driving while intoxicated, reckless driving and speeding after being pulled over on Route 22 West.

Krause was processed and released pending a court appearance.

County Holding 5th Annual 5K Race to Wellness

BRIDGEWATER, NJ - The Somerset County Employee Wellness Committee is partnering with EmPoWER Somerset for the 5th Annual 5K Race to Wellness and 1-mile Fun Walk for county residents March 24.
