BRIDGEWATER, NJ - Each week, two students at Bridgewater-Raritan High School will be honored as students of the week.
Students are chosen by teachers and staff in the high school.
The students of the week for the week of Nov. 16 are:
- Madison Calello - (nominated by Amanda Hodge) I had a new student transfer into my Lit. 1 class this week and Maddie offered to take notes for her as she got caught up with over 300 pages of reading. Maddie went out of her way to ask me if she could do anything to help her new classmate, showing her compassionate and generous nature. I believe she should be recognized for her actions and for truly being such a pleasant and genuine asset to my classroom.
- William Idell - (nominated by Gabrielle Roszkowski) Liam is a positive influence in our Algebra II class. He is engaged in each lesson and participates on a regular basis, which is difficult for many to do during an early first period class. Liam brings a positive energy to our classroom environment by helping others and being kind to those around him. He demonstrates great motivation and takes pride in his work by asking thoughtful questions and has shown the ability to learn from his mistakes. Liam is a great student and a pleasure to have in class.
Editors Note - Every week we will publish the BRHS Students of the Week. Congratulations to all those students recognized.
